Biography
Paula Scher is a Human Resources executive, with over 12 years of commercial experience developing and implementing human resource strategy. Her industry experience spans financial services, professional services, consulting, outsourcing, retail, local government and not for profit. Paula has been responsible for the delivery of excellence in Human Resources practice across the employment lifecycle as well as leading change transformation programmes. She has an MBA and is a sessional lecturer in the Masters programme at RMIT. She has previously served on the board of the not-for-profit Global Dialogue Foundation and was Chair of the RMIT Industry Advisory Committee for the School of Management.
In her spare time, Paula can be found studying International Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law through the University of Edinburgh, volunteering for Lort Smith Animal Hospital, or travelling to new and exciting places. Having previously worked in 7 different countries, she now resides in Melbourne, with her husband Craig, and adopted cat, Chow. Paula is delighted to be joining us in this perfect match of passion and profession.
